Projects

Dane Arts Mural Arts (DAMA) is a new public art program by Dane Arts that trains local artists to become community artists who use mural-making to beautify neighborhoods and make a difference in the lives of youth.

DAMA empowers artists, neighborhoods and youth to become change agents, collaborating on projects which physically and socially improve communities.

Seven new murals were created in 2015 - our first year. These mural projects focused on under-resourced urban and rural communities throughout Dane County. Join us as we impact more Dane County citizens in 2016!

Dane Arts Buy Local (DABL) returns to the US Bank building on the Square for another exceptional evening of connecting local artists to local buyers. By keeping dollars local in Dane County, we support the creative economy that enriches the lives of those that call it home. Whether it be the culture of a business purchasing art, or the increased capacities of artists being able to create in their studios, this will be an experience that defines the county as a whole. DABL guarantees all art to be local - without exception.
