Mr. Fraire has worked as an arts administrator for over 20 years and has been involved in supporting theater arts on every level from producer to writer to actor to comic to playwright to manager to director.  He was the Grants and Fund Development Director for the Madison Metropolitan School District and helped raise in 2013-14, over $2 million in funds.  Fraire spent 17 years as the state’s Grants Officer for the Wisconsin Arts Board.  Prior to that position, Fraire created the Community Education Department for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater where he was awarded the President’s Coming Up Taller Award for creating TEENworks, an innovative youth and community theater arts training program.  Fraire has an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.


Taeli Turner, Cultural Affairs Specialist

Taeli is a graduate and recipient of a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, a minor in General Business and a focus in Arts Administration, from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Taeli currently holds the position of Cultural Affairs Specialist for Dane County Cultural Affairs – Dane Arts.  In the past, she has served as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for River Arts Inc. in Prairie du Sac, as well as the LTE Volunteer Coordinator for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.  Taeli serves on the Arts Wisconsin’s board and chairs the planning committee for their new Young Arts Leaders Council. Taeli has served three terms on the Dane Arts grant review panel and has recently been nominated by Arts Wisconsin for the May 2016 Backyard Hero Award.

To date, Taeli has completed three internships.  The first internship, with the Dance Fabulous Company in Madison, WI, the second internship, with the Institute of Visual Arts (INOVA) in Milwaukee, WI, which gave her the opportunity to create a Student Engagement Curriculum for the gallery as well as assist in social media outreach, research, planning and marketing.  Her final internship/limited time employment position, was with the Dane County Executive’s Office, working for Dane County Cultural Affairs – Dane Arts, where she worked closely with the previous Executive Director as the Project Assistant.
